This volume is based on extensive research by Worshipful Brother Neville Wallace, a Past Master of The Glenlyon Lodge.

Neville Wallace

Worshipful Brother Neville Wallace embarked on his Masonic journey in September 2008, ushered into Freemasonry through the guidance of Worshipful Brother Howard Ennis and other esteemed Freemason associates. His initiation into The Glenlyon Lodge 346 S.C. marked the commencement of a dedicated and impacting involvement within the fraternity.

Swiftly ascending within the ranks, Worshipful Brother Neville assumed the role of Treasurer of the Lodge, in which he demonstrated astute financial acumen by converting years of deficits to surpluses at the end of his tenure and also moving the revenue from fundraising projects to a 65% increase. His commitment to service and excellence saw him progressing through the degrees of Fellow of Craft, Master Mason, and Mark Degree, attaining each milestone with diligence and reverence.

Throughout his early years, Brother Neville’s contributions to The Glenlyon Lodge were substantial, serving as Treasurer for two consecutive years and playing a pivotal role in its operational and fundraising endeavors. His visionary leadership and unwavering dedication propelled him to the esteemed position of Right Worshipful Master for the Masonic Years 2015-2016 and 2018-2019.

As Right Worshipful Master, Brother Neville orchestrated initiatives aimed at fostering camaraderie among Brethren, forging strong ties with sister Lodges in Jamaica and the Caribbean. At several of the Lodge’s Regular Meetings the number of visitors outnumbered the Lodge Members in attendance. He spearheaded fundraising efforts to support charitable programs. His instrumental role in the Twinning of Lodge Fort Nassau No. 1819 S.C. in The Commonwealth of the Bahamas and Lodge Caribbean Light No. 1391 S.C. in Trinidad Tobago underscores his commitment to fostering inter-lodge relations and promoting Brotherly Love within the Masonic community.

He introduced social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube) to promote The Glenlyon Lodge in particular and Freemasonry in general. Today, The Glenlyon Lodge is the only Masonic Lodge with a YouTube channel (Glenlyon346 TV).

Several lectures were made at the Lodge Festive Board, which creates an opportunity to introduce Non-Mason to the Craft and for them to meet other Masons and get an insight into what Freemasonry is about.

Beyond his Masonic endeavors, Worshipful Brother Wallace is a distinguished Entrepreneur and Information Technology Professional, boasting over three decades of experience across various ventures. His entrepreneurial spirit and innovative vision have propelled him to the forefront of the industry, where he continues to make significant strides in technological innovation and human capital management.

In addition to his professional pursuits, Worshipful Brother Neville’s passion for Masonic antiquities and historical preservation is evident in his endeavors to author, arrange, and produce theme songs that celebrate the spirit and legacy of The Glenlyon Lodge. His creative contributions, including “Welcome to The Glenlyon Lodge,” “346 My Mother Be,” “Raise Your Glass in the Air,” and “Show Me The Light,” serve as poignant reminders of the Lodge’s rich heritage and enduring legacy.

The culmination of Worshipful Brother Neville’s dedication and contributions to The Glenlyon Lodge is immortalized in this book, commemorating its 175th Anniversary.
